Description

The next night.
What is the value of patience?
An immediate reaction
should be the result
of the unconscious,

and if I am to trust that instinct,
patience seems to work against
those true judgments.

Yet that patience is so much
a part of me that I am unable
to account for why it exists,
if it is indeed an opposing force.

Instead I would consider the two
to be working in accordance to a single goal,
true judgment and wisdom. Certainly
there have been moments when
I have stopped myself from acting
in response to something following
an unknown force that would guide me.

I will start off by saying the title very correctly works with the literature you have written.
I of course have always been a sucker for poetry and the poetic mind. I respect the patience writing takes.

That being said, you have used wonderful imagery and I very much like the way the words flow together completely without having to rhyme. I have always thought that a very huge part of being a poet is knowing how to make words mingle on the tongue and in the brain without having to rhyme.
You have succeeded in that action, dear.
I very much enjoy this poem, and I am looking forward to future things from you, and checking out the rest of your gallery.
Continue to write, it's a wonderful therapy. [For me anyways.<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="" title="Heart"/>]
